The Beloit College men's soccer team fell to Grinnell College 5-2 in Beloit Saturday afternoon. 

The action was fast and furious from the onset as the Pioneers got on the board in the first five minutes. Just eight minutes later, in the 12th minute, Grinnell doubled up with a second goal. 

The Buccaneers refused to fold and got their foothold to begin a comeback. In the 31st minute, Jackson Macho found the back of the net off an assist from Brandon Joly to cut the deficit in half. 

Eight minutes later, Derek Veenstra knotted the game 2-2 to send the squads into the intermission. 

Grinnell reclaimed the lead in the 53rd minute and extended the gap to 4-2 in the 79th. Another goal in the 85th put the game out of reach. Still the Bucs continued to capitalize on opportunities with Brendan Drager adding his name to the score column in the 89th minute. 

Clark Burch-Woodard and Teddy Bahu split time in goal for Beloit combining for four saves in net.
