The Beloit College men's basketball team struggled to find their footing offensively in a 59-43 loss to Lawrence University in the Midwest Conference opener in Appleton Wednesday.
The Buccaneers shot under 30-percent from the floor, were 6-26 from three-point range and just 3-11 from the free throw line. Meanwhile, the Vikings shot 47-percent on their home floor and were 12-30 from the charity stripe.
Mylan Walters led Beloit offensively with 14 points on 6-12 from the field.
Andrew Walters was the most active on the glass with 12 rebounds adding a game high five assists.
