The Beloit College men's basketball team fell to Ripon College 71-44 in Flood Arena Friday evening.
A big first half for the Redhawks had the Buccaneers facing a 41-23 deficit at halftime. Ripon shot 45-percent from the floor including 41-percent from three-point range and were a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line in the first half. Beloit shot just 33-perfect from the floor and 25-percent from downtown.
For the game, Ripon capitalized on Beloit miscues holding a 21-5 advantage in points off turnovers.
Ethan Bozzo led Beloit with 10 points on 5-8 from the floor.
Andrew Walters was the most active on the glass with 10 boards.
Mylan Walters led the Bucs with four assists.
The Bucs have a quick turnaround and will be back in Flood Arena tomorrow afternoon hosting Cornell College at 1 p.m.
