The Beloit College men's basketball team fell to UW-Platteville, ranked third nationally in the latest D3hoops.com poll, 74-46 in a tournament hosted by St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin Wednesday evening.
The Buccaneers will face the loser of a matchup between host St. Norbert and Northland College tomorrow at 5 p.m.
The Bucs couldn't match pace with the efficiency of the nationally ranked Pioneers. UWP shot nearly 50-percent from the floor and added a 10-12 performance at the charity stripe in the contest. Beloit shot 35-percent from the field and were 7-10 from the free throw line.
Andrew Walters led Beloit with nine points and six rebounds.
Michael Myles added a team high three assists while Jabari Scuefileld tallied a team high four steals.
