The Beloit College men's soccer team dropped a home contest to Rockford University 4-0 Wednesday evening.
The Regents' offense were efficient scoring on four of their five shots on goal opportunities. The Buccaneers had multiple opportunities near goal firing three shots on net but the Rockford defense thwarted every attempt.
Following 24 minutes of scoreless play, Rockford opened the scoring in the 25th minute and added to more tallies over the next 10 minutes. The Regents put the contest out of reach with another goal in the second half.
Now 2-2-1 on the season the Bucs will look to bounce back against Illinois Tech Sunday. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m.
