The Beloit College volleyball team fell to Knox College 3-1 (26-28, 25-19, 25-19, 25-12) in Flood Arena Saturday afternoon.
Coming off of a highly charged five-setter from Friday night, the Buccaneers struggled to find their offensive footing Saturday.
The Bucs battled in the first set, facing multiple set points before emerging with the win as
Angela Donath hammered down a kill off of a set from
Cora Linos for the 28-26 win.
Knox College grew more efficient offensively as the match wore on putting pressure on the Beloit defense. In the final set, the Prairie Fire hit a blistering .417 to secure the win.
Regina Guehlstorf led the Bucs with eight kills while committing just two errors in 21 attempts. She added four block assists. Outside hitters Donath and
Katrina Sanchez each registered double digit digs while setters Linos and
Abbie Schmidt dished out dougle figure assists.
