NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Beloit's volleyball team stepped outside conference play Friday night, falling in three sets at North Central College (Ill.). North Central took the first set 25-14, before taking the next two 25-17 and 25-8, respectively.
Katrina Sanchez led Beloit with eight kills, to go along with six digs.
Jada Daniel posted four kills and one service ace, while Abby Schmidt led the team in assists, with 18.
Komachi Naoe's 10 digs also led the Buccaneers.
North Central was led by Katie Little's 10 kills, while Emily Stallman led the team in both service aces (4) and digs (19). Anna Gawron recorded a match-high 38 digs for North Central.
Beloit will try to rebound on Tuesday when they'll host Mount Mary University. That match will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Flood Arena in Beloit, Wis.
