BELOIT, Wis. - Beloit dropped the first set to Mount Mary 22-25 Tuesday night, before winning the next three 25-13, 25-14, 25-22 to earn the victory. The Buccaneers also held the the advantage in kills (39-31), service aces (13-9), blocks (4-2), and assists (37-25).
Beloit was led by
Katrina Sanchez's 14 kills and 19 digs. McKayla Simao led the team in service aces (4), while
Abbie Schmidt's 33 assists were also a match-high.
Cora Linos added eight kills, while
Jada Daniel recorded six kills and a match-high two blocks.
Mount Mary was led by Kaitlyn Powers' 11 kills, while Brianna Ecker led the Blue Angels in service aces (4), to go along with five kills. Emma White led the team with 19 assists, while Ava Ramos recorded 28 digs.
Beloit will be in action again on Friday when they'll host Rockford University at 6 p.m. on what will be Senior Day in the final home game of the season for the Buccaneers.
