BELOIT, Wis. - Fresh off a 2-2 tie against Knox College over the weekend, Beloit's men's soccer team picked up their first victory of the conference season with a 2-1 win against Lake Forest College. 

Lake Forest (3-7-2, 2-1-1 MWC) got the scoring started in the 23rd minute when they scored via Penalty Kick.

Beloit (2-7-1, 1-1-1 MWC) would tie things up in the 57th minute during the second half on Jose Larraim's first goal of the season, thanks to an assist by Andrew Marchesi. Eight minutes later, Aiden Everett scored the go-ahead goal, his fourth goal of the season.

Brock Bidwell played all 90 minutes at Goal Keeper for Beloit, making 10 saves, while allowing just one goal. His counterpart, Szymon Mocarski recorded five saves in 90 minutes of work.

The Buccaneers will try to build on this victory on Saturday when they'll travel to Grinnell College. That game will begin at 11 a.m. in Grinnell, Iowa.
