GRINNELL, Iowa - Grinnell's women's soccer team defeated Beloit Saturday afternoon 1-0, scoring the lone goal in the game's final minute. The Pioneers out-shot the Buccaneers 10-8.

After 89 scoreless minutes, Tori Thomas scored the only goal of the game, netting her second goal of the season with one minute remaining on the clock.

Audrey Ketterer played all 90 minutes in goal for the Buccaneers (4-2-2, 2-2-0 MWC), making six saves on the day. Grinnell's Elinor Arneson recorded four saves in 90 minutes to preserve the shutout for the Pioneers (5-1-4, 3-0-1 MWC).

Beloit will be in action again on Sunday, October 16 when they'll travel to Illinois College. That game will begin at 1:30 p.m. in Jacksonville, Ill.
