BELOIT, Wis. - Rockford University lit up the nets to the tune of 49 percent shooting (26-53), including 53 percent (9-17) from the 3-point range, en route to a 75-64 win at Beloit College. The Buccaneers meanwhile, shot 35 percent (20-58) from the field and 24 percent (5-21) from behind the 3-point line.
Beloit (4-7) never trailed in the first 10 minutes of the opening half, before Rockford (6-5) scored 14 consecutive points to take an eight-point lead with five and a half minutes remaining in the period. Beloit would cut that lead to three one minute later, before going into halftime trailing by a score of 39-34.
The Buccaneers inched even closer in the opening minutes of the second half, which saw the first basket come on a 3-pointer from

After Ganiyu tied the score at 51 later in the half, Rockford would go on a 14-3 run to take a double-digit lead and essentially put the game out of reach.
