The Beloit College track and field program finished its trip to Myrtle Beach with the final day of competition in the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational Saturday. The event featured 40 collegiate teams or track clubs with most events containing more than 50 competitors.
The Buccaneers had a number of top 25 finishes Saturday.
Leeland Crumm recorded a height of 3.51 meters in the pole vault to finish 10th in the event Saturday. In the 3000-meter run,
Lexy Olson crossed the line 19th with a time of 12:30.38.
Hannah Welte was clocked in 1:12.88 for 20th in the 400-meter hurdles. In the men's discus,
Emiliano Reyes' heave of 35.86 meters was 22nd. Elizabeth Kalk registered a height of 1.38 meters in her first collegiate competition in the high jump to finish 25th.
Beloit's top combination in the men's 4x100 relay was clocked in 44.81 for 11th. The top women's squad was also 11th with a time of 51.56.

Alexandre Atou crossed the line third in the open 400 while
Rose Loos-Austin was sixth on the women's side with a time of 1:06.19 in the event.
In the women's 10,000,
Maggie Baugh was the 13th runner to cross the line stopping the clock in 51:56.97.
Marianna Carus was clocked in 6:02.32 to finish 16th in the open mile run.
Aiden Cortinas registered a top 25 time in the open mile run crossing the finish line in 5:00.80.
In the relays, the top Beloit men's 4x200 relay was seventh with a time of 1:31.90 while the top combination for the women's 4x200 was eighth after posting a time of 1:49.47.
Jordyn McDonald and
Alayna Furch both finished among the top ten out of more than 50 runners in the opening round of the 100-meter dash. McDonald led the way with a time of 12.74 for fourth in the first round while
Alayna Furch was clocked in 13.04 for ninth. Neither ran in the next round of 100-meter races.
The invitational will conclude Saturday.
