BELOIT, Wis. - After 90 minutes of women's soccer Saturday afternoon, Beloit and Carroll finished their game tied at one. Beloit held the edge in shots by a 12-11 margin.
Beloit (2-0-2) took the game's first lead on
Mikaila Davis' third goal of the season, coming on an assist from
Natalie Ortiz in the 28th minute. Carroll then tied the game on Maddie Belo's second goal of the year just two minutes into the second half.
Briana Arteaga and
Audrey Ketterer combined for three saves for the Buccaneers, while Caitlin Fitzsimons saved four shots for Carroll, while playing all 90 minutes.
Beloit will try to keep their unbeaten record alive on Tuesday when they'll host Edgewood College at 4:30 p.m. at Strong Complex Soccer Field.
