LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest ended Wednesday's game with a 10-0 run in the final two and a half minutes to defeat Beloit College's men's basketball team 68-59. The game featured six ties and 24 lead changes, before Lake Forest pulled away in the final minutes.
Beloit (4-11, 1-6 MWC) shot 41 percent (23-56) from the field, including 28 percent (7-25) from 3-point range.
Michael Myles led the Buccaneers with 15 points and nine rebounds, while
Azeez Ganiyu added 13 points and six boards.
Semaj Roy added nine points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench.
Lake Forest (7-8, 4-2 MWC) shot 43 percent (23-54) from the floor, including 41 percent (7-17) from 3-point range. Rocco Ronzio led the Foresters with 17 points and three rebounds, while Zach Foster scored 13 points on 5-of-5 shooting, including a trio of 3-pointers. Elijah Bull and Alex Knight also chipped in with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Beloit will be in action again on Saturday when they'll host Knox College. That game will begin at 3 p.m. at Flood Arena in Beloit, Wis.
