BELOIT, Wis. - This afternoon the Beloit College Women's soccer team hosted the Grinnell College Pioneers (8-3-4, 4-0-2) in a huge match to determine possible MWC Tournament seeding. 

In a rematch of the 2022 MWC Conference Tournament Finals, this match felt like it meant just as much. The Buccaneers (4-8-4, 3-1-3) looked to turn a page after a loss earlier in the week. 

Despite not getting a shot off in the first half, the Bucs only found themselves trailing 0-1 heading into halftime. GC fired 8 shots including the goal in the 37th minute. 

With what looked like a 0-1 loss for the Bucs, they had one last chance in the 89th minute with a corner kick. Aspen Valentine (Kent, Wash.) found Megan Thompson (Clarendon Hills, Ill.) for the last minute equalizer. 

The Buccaneers return to the pitch on Wednesday at Strong Complex when they host UW-Platteville in a non-conference matchup. Kick off is set for 4 p.m.
