CHICAGO, Ill.- Earlier this evening the Beloit College Women's basketball team traveled to Chicago, Ill. for a match up with the Vikings of North Park University. The Vikings (2-3) were looking for their second win of the season, while the Buccaneers (0-5) were still searching for their first win. NPU got the best of Beloit, and took the game 81-63. 

The deciding factor in the game proved to be the Vikings shooting, they shot considerably better than the Bucs. NPU out rebounded BC, 33-30 but the Bucs saw more bench productions, getting 19 bench points compared to just 13 for the Vikings. Both teams turned the ball over 15 times and scored 15 points off turnovers. 

Elizabeth Kalk (Clinton, Wis.) led the Bucs in scoring, and fell just shy of her third straight double-double. She posted 21 points and 8 boards. Kalk also led the team with 3 assists. Hannah Welte (Clinton, Wis.) finished with 12 points, six rebounds and three steals. Hailey Johnson (South Milwaukee, Wis.) accounted for 9 of Beloit's 19 bench points. She also secured 4 rebounds and blocked 2 shots. 

The Buccaneers take some time off for the Thanksgiving Holiday before heading to Fond Du Lac for a Sunday meeting with Marian University. Tip off on November 26th is set for 5pm.
