DECATUR, Ill. - Last night the Beloit College Women's basketball team tipped off the 2023-24 season on the road against No. 19 Millikin. The Big Blue set the pace early and defeated the Buccaneers 79-40. 

Despite no Bucs hitting double-digits in scoring, 10 different Buccaneers scored, 5 of which tallied 6 points, the team high. Kaitlin Davis (Platte City, Mo.) had the most complete game, scoring six, grabbing 6 rebounds and adding one assist. 

Beloit showed flashes of good, outscoring Millikin 19-6 over the final 10 minutes of action. 

The Buccaneers return to Wisconsin for another road game next week. On Tuesday, November 14th they head to Waukesha for a game against the Pioneers of Carrol University. Tip off is set for 7 pm.
