LISLE, Ill. - Beloit's men's lacrosse team lost to Benedictine (Ill.) by a score of 19-1 Saturday afternoon. The Eagles also out-shot the Buccaneers by a 63-17 margin.
Benedictine (3-9, 3-1 NACC) scored the game's first five goals before Beloit's
Jordan Rice scored unassisted for Beloit's lone goal of the day. Benedictine would add another goal in that quarter, before scoring three more times in the second to take a 9-1 halftime lead. The Eagles would add five goals in both the third and fourth period to cap the scoring.
Jordan Chock led Benedictine with six goals, while Will Robinson scored five goals, to go along with two assists. Beloit's
Eric Seo and
Cole Conway combined to save 16 shots, while Benedictine had a trio of goal keepers combine for five saves.
Beloit will try to rebound on Wednesday when they'll travel to Milwaukee, Wis. to face MSOE at 7 p.m.
