BELOIT, Wis. - Beloit's men's lacrosse team lost to Illinois Tech Saturday afternoon by a score of 11-1. Illinois Tech also held a shot advantage of 53-22.
The Scarlet Hawks (7-5, 4-2 NACC) opened the scoring just one minute into the game when Ryan Arbour found the net. Illinois Tech would add two more goals before
Keeler Tardiff got Beloit on the board, with the assist going to
Jordan Rice. Illinois Tech then added five more goals in the second quarter to take a commanding 8-1 lead into halftime.
After intermission, the Scarlet Hawks continued to score. They added two more goals in the third, before scoring once in the fourth to cap the scoring. Jackson Brass led all players with three goals, while Spencer Meace scored two.
Eric Seo (2-10, 1-5 NACC) recorded 16 saves in 45 minutes of action as Beloit's Goal Keeper, while
Cole Conway saved three shots in relief. Illinois Tech had two players combine to record 15 saves.
Beloit will be in action again on Tuesday when they'll host Marian (Wis.). That game will begin at 7 p.m. at Strong Stadium in Beloit, Wis.
