BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit College Women's soccer team faced off with the Monmouth College Fighting Scots (2-5-3) this afternoon. The Buccaneers (2-6-2) held a huge advantage in total shots and shots on goal. BC finished the game with 27 total shots and 19 on goal, while MC fired only 8 shots, 7 of which were on goal.
Despite the major advantage in shots, Monmouth got on the board first, in the 10 minute. It wasn't until the 76th minute that Beloit tied the game.
Maya DeGeorge scored the equalizer.
Briana Arteaga (Covina, Calif.) played all 90 minutes in goal, making 6 saves and giving up just one goal.
The Bucs head to Appleton, Wis. on Wednesday, October 4th for a MWC matchup with Lawrence University. Kick off is set for 7 p.m.
