BELOIT, Wis. - Over the weekend the Beloit College Women's soccer team hosted the Benedictine University Eagles for their home opener. The Bucs controlled the momentum for most of the game, out shooting the Eagles 15-11 and 8-6 on goal.

In the 33rd minute,
Megan Thompson (Clarendon Hills, Ill.) headed one past the BU keeper. Her goal came off an assist from
Maya DeGeorge.
In the 68th minute,
Abigail Membrino (Darien, Wis.) put BC up 2-0 when she beat the keeper off a ball from
Natalie Ortiz (Crystal Lake, Ill.).
Membrino scored her 2nd goal of the contest in the 75th minute. This goal came after a series of shots and blocks that bounced around in front of goal.
Beloit returns to action at home this afternoon (September 5th) at 4:30 pm against Saint Mary's (Minn.).
