BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit College Men's Basketball team hosted the Lawrence University Vikings in a midweek MWC match up. The Buccaneers (12-7, 6-5 MWC) led from start to finish, taking a 10 point (34-24) lead into the break. The Vikings (4-15, 2-8 MWC) outscored Beloit 39-37 over the final twenty minutes but couldn't pull any closer and the Bucs went on to win 71-63. 

A major factor in the win was the bench production for Beloit. The Bucs' bench scored 29 points while the Vikings' bench only added eight points. Beloit continued to shoot the ball well, shooting 46% (21-46) from the field, 43% (9-21) from three and 67% (20-30) from the charity stripe. 

Semaj Roy (Chicago, Ill.) scored a career-high 20 points to lead the Buccaneers. Azeez Ganiyu (Beloit, Wis.) added eleven points and four rebounds. He also recorded three blocks. 

The Buccaneers' don't return to the court until Wednesday, January 31st when they head north to Ripon. Tipoff in Ripon is set for 5:30pm.
