GALESBURG, Ill. - This evening the Beloit College Volleyball team kicked off a weekend road trip with a match against the Prairie Fire of Knox College. The Buccaneers (2-16, 0-3 MWC) struggled to score and posted a hitting percentage of just .033. The Priaire Fire (1-17, 1-2 MWC) only recorded four more kills than the Buccaneers but swept the match 3-0, (25-19, 25-17, 25-13)
Two Bucs posted double-digit numbers,
Camille Ledoux (Saint-Liboire, Quebec, Canada) had a game-high 10 kills and
Selin Tufte (Clarkdale, AZ)Â added 18 assists. Tufte also tallied five digs and one service ace.
Kaci Watanabe (Wahiawa, Hawaii) held down the back line for Beloit with eight digs.Â
The Buccaneers head to Monmouth, Ill. for a match against the Fighting Scots tomorrow afternoon. First serve from Glennie Gymnasium is set for 1 pm.Â
