BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit College Men's Soccer team hosted the Knox College Prairie Fire on a busy day at the Strong Athletic Complex. The Buccaneers (2-13, 1-4 MWC) were hoping to end a three game losing streak. The Prairie Fire (5-7-2, 2-2-1 MWC) spoiled their plans and defeated Beloit 3-0.
Knox stifled the Buccaneer offense, allowing only three shots, one of which registered on goal. KC orchestrated plenty of offense, totaling 29 shots with eleven on goal. They buried their first goal in the 39th minute and added two more in the second half.
Juan Calzada's (Madison, Wis.) shot in the 63rd minute was the Bucs' best chance before the Prairie Fire keeper made the save. '
The Buccaneers return to the pitch on Wednesday, October 23rd at 4 pm when they host the Foresters of Lake Forest College.
