BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit College Men's Soccer team played their final home match of the season this afternoon when they hosted the Foresters of Lake Forest College.
The Foresters (6-7-3, 5-0-1 MWC) jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in just the fourth minute. The Buccaneers (2-14-0, 1-5-0 MWC) tied the game at one in the 12th minute after
Brady Wachholz (Nya, MN) intercepted a pass across the midfield and fired on goal. Lake Forest took a 2-1 lead with under a minute remaining in the first half. They extended their lead 4-1 in the second half to seal the game.
The Foresters maintain possession the majority of the game and the shot chart showed it. LFC fired off a total of 37 shots, 17 on goal. The Bucs ripped eight total shots, half of which were towards the goal.
The Buccaneers hit the road for the final two games of the season. They make the trek to Grinnell, Iowa on Saturday for a match against the Pioneers of Grinnell College. Kick off from Springer Field is set for 11 am.
