GRINNELL, Iowa - This afternoon the Beloit College Men's Soccer team headed to Grinnell College for a match up with the Pioneers of Grinnell College. The Buccaneers (2-15-0, 1-6-0 MWC) posted their third multi-goal game of the season in the 2-8 loss to the Pioneers (7-4-5, 3-1-2 MWC). 

Santiago Gomez (Marietta, GA) and Brendan Drager (Albuquerque, NM) were the goal scorers for the Buccaneers. Gomez's goal in the 24th minute cut the lead in half, 2-1 and marked his second goal of the season. Drager buried his first goal of the season in the 88th minute, the final goal of the match. 

Henry Amini and Cody Nowaczyk (Elkhorn, Wis.) split time in net, each taking a half and both making six saves. In total, Beloit fired off four shots, with the two on goal going in. Grinnell's offense sent 32 shots off and 20 of them towards goal. 

The Buccaneers will wrap up the 2024 season on the road in Jacksonville, Ill. next Saturday against the Blue Boys of Illinois College. Kick off from England Stadium is set for 11 am on November 2nd.
