BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit College Volleyball team hosted the Cornell College Rams this evening in Midwest Conference action. The Buccaneers (2-18, 0-5 MWC) fell in straight sets to the second place Rams (11-11, 4-0 MWC), 9-25, 12-25, 13-25.
The Buccaneers were led offensively by
McKayla "Maka" Simao (Sparta, Wis.) and
Camille Ledoux (Saint-Liboire, Quebec, Canada), both batted down five kills. Simao added four digs in the back row. Defensively,
Adelaide Schmitt (Aurora, CO) tallied nine digs.
Emily Ortiz (Aurora, IL) led with six assists.
The Buccaneers have a quick turnaround before hosting Maranatha Baptist University on Friday in a non-conference match up. The match is set to start at 7 pm from Flood Arena.
