JACKSONVILLE, IL. - For the fourth straight season, the Beloit College Women's Soccer team is headed to the Midwest Conference Tournament. The Buccaneers (5-10-3, 4-3-1 MWC) secured their spot with a late goal to defeat the Illinois College Lady Blues (9-6-3, 1-4-2 MWC) 1-0. 

Illinois College tallied more shots on goal (8) than the Buccaneers (3) but Maya Betzler (College Place, Wash.) posted her third clean sheet of the season. It wasn't until the 85th minute that the Bucs broke the game open. Beloit earned a corner and Kaitlyn Hudetz (Plainfield, Ill.) found the ball in the scrum and sent it to the back of the net. 

The Buccaneers earned the #4 seed in the 2024 Midwest Conference Tournament and will face #1 seed and host Lake Forest College on Friday, November 8th at 11 am at Mohr field in Lake Forest, Illinois.
