BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit College Women's Lacrosse team returned to Strong Stadium for the second straight weekend this afternoon. The Bucs hosted the Rams of Cornell College. Cornell's offense was too much for Beloit to handle and the Bucs fell by a score of 15-6. Cornell out shot the Bucs 30-20.
Johanna McNair (Fishers, Ind.) and
Cassidy Felix (Bellflower, Calif.) both scored two for Beloit (1-1, 0-0 NACC) while
Evelyn Manchester (Columbia, Md.) and
Maggie Mudd (St. Charles, Mo.) added the final two goals. The Bucs scored goals in each quater, with two in each of the final two quarters. The Rams (2-0) got out to a hot start, scoring five goals in the opening frame.
Beloit continues their homestand, hosting Augustana College (IL) on Thursday, March 7th at 4pm.
