BELOIT, Wis. - Six Buccaneer Baseball players earned a spot on either the MWC First or Second team All-Conference list the league announced this morning. Kiger (Beloit, Wis.), O'Leary (Clarendon Hills, Ill.) and Phipps (Simi Valley, Calif.) added to their record-setting individual seasons by adding First Team All-Conference to their resume. Alport (Arlington Heights, Ill.) and Vogel (Palmdale, Calif.) landed on the second team list, both for the first time. 

Kiger and O'Leary fueled the Bucs offense for most of the season. Kiger most notably broke the MWC Career home run record with his 43rd career bomb on April 27th that same day, he broke the Beloit College single season HR record, one previously held by Brett. O'Leary is tied for the Beloit career hits record with 223. He is eight away from the MWC record. He is the MWC and Beloit College career leader with runs at 186. O'Leary also holds the following Beloit College career records, triples (10), batting average (.377) and walks (130). 

Phipps has been the ace on the mound for the Bucs for the last two seasons. This season he carries a 4.03 ERA with an 8-3 record. He is one win away from the career win record at Beloit. 

Alport has been the anchor in the outfield for the Buccaneers for the passed two seasons, playing incredible defense while also making a few relief appearances on the mound. He led the team this season in hits, runs, and doubles. His 36 RBI put him at third on the team this season. 

Vogel has also provided an offensive spark for Beloit. He sits in the top five in runs, hits, RBIs and home runs on the season. He has been forced to split his time between first base and left field this season but has maintained a .983 fielding percentage with just three errors. 

The Buccaneers are prepping to take on Spaulding University (Ky.) in the opening round of the NCAA DIII Tournament tomorrow. Action from the Lexington Regional kicks off at 11 am ET.
