WHEATON, Ill. - The Beloit College Volleyball team wrapped up play at the Marilyn Scribner Invitational this afternoon with matches against Rose-Hulman and Aurora Univeristy. The Buccaneers (1-4, 0-0) were defeated 3-0 in both matches. 

Match 1 vs Rose-Hulman: L: 3-0 (18-25, 14-25, 13-25)
In their first match, the Bucs were led by their underclassmen, Sophomore Kierra Rayne Hoover (Albuquerque, New Mexico) led offensively with six kills. Freshman Selin Tufte (Clarkdale, AZ) and Adelaide Schmitt (Aurora, CO) had eleven assists and digs respectively. 

Match 2 vs Aurora: L: 3-0 (17-25, 4-25, 12-25)
Passing the wealth around, the Bucs used an entirely different group of weapons in their second match. Camille Ledoux (Saint-Liboire, Quebec, Canada) led the Buccaneers with three kills. McKayla "Maka" Simao (Sparta, Wis.) recorded seven digs and two kills. Lizzie Paschal (Holbrook, AZ) was the top setter with six and Siddalee Meyers (Orfordville, Wis.) added six digs and one service ace. 

The Buccaneers return to Beloit for their home opener on Tuesday, September 17th to host the Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders. Game time is set for 7 pm at Flood Arena.
