WAUKESHA, Wis. - In a low scoring game, the scoring chances were slim for the Beloit College Women's Soccer team this evening against Carroll University.
The Buccaneers (1-7-2, 0-0-0) only registered one shot against the Pioneers (2-4-2, 0-0-0) in the 0-1 loss. The Pios scored their lone goal in just the fourth minute of the game. They went on to fire off eighteen more shots, thirteen of those on goal. Beloit's lone shot came off the foot of
Kaitlyn Hudetz (Plainfield, Ill.) in the 37th minute.
In goal,
Maya Betzler (College Place, Wash.) played all ninety minutes, saving thirteen shots, one off her season-high.
This match was the Bucs final tune up before Midwest Conference (MWC) play begins on Saturday. Beloit heads to Mount Vernon, Iowa to match up with the Rams of Cornell College. Kick off from the Cornell Soccer Field is set for 1:30 pm
