RIPON, Wis. - The Beloit College track team made their presence felt at the Ripon Alumni Dual Meet this afternoon, with several standout performances across multiple events.
The highlight of the day came in the 4x200m relays, where both Beloit men's and women's teams showcased their depth and talent. The women's 'A' team, composed of 
Jaslyn Gama, 
Jaeonie Echols (Kansas City, MO), 
Niomee Casey (Broken Arrow, Okla), and 
Naomi Murphy (Dubuque, Iowa), dominated their event with a winning time of 2:05.84, while the men's 'B' team of 
Prince Upadhyay (Vadodara, Gujarat, India), 
Conall Witherite, 
Frank Hooton (Weslaco, Tex.), and 
Aiden Cortinas (Sycamore, Ill.) surprised the field by taking first place in 1:42.59.
Individual performances also shined for the Buccaneers. Gama demonstrated her sprinting prowess by winning the women's 400m in 1:07.89, while 
Nate Otis (Shoreview, Minn.) had a particularly impressive day, claiming victory in the men's 60m hurdles with a time of 8.84 seconds and earning a season-best (SB) mark. Alex Atou won the men's 400, toeing the line in 51.52 and took 3rd in the 200m with a 23.68. 
Aiden Cortinas continued the strong showing in the 800m with a solid second-place finish.
In the distance events, 
Dylan Malmgren (Loves Park, Ill.) represented Beloit well in the men's 3000m, securing third place. The women's 800m saw a strong Beloit contingent, with 
Cole Miller (Salem, Ore.) leading the charge and winning the event in 2:34.78.
In the field, the success continued for 
Joshua Martinez Marte (Beloit, Wis.). He topped the podium in both the shot put and weight throw. Martinez threw for 14.31 meters in shot and 13.02 meters in the weight throw. 
The Buccaneers make the short trip to UW-Whitewater on Saturday, January 25th for the Karl Schlender Invitational. Action from the Willmore Center is set to start at 11 am.Â
