The Foresters broke through in the 17th minute, with their first goal. Just moments later, LFC extended their lead to 2-0. Beloit's defense continued to battle, with players like Meah Mora (Caldwell, ID) and Zyana Turcios (Elmwood Park, Ill.) working tirelessly to contain Lake Forest's attackers.
