WATERTOWN, Wis. – The Beloit College Men's basketball team earned their first win of the season this evening with an emphatic 86-50 victory over Maranatha Baptist. The Buccaneers showcased a potent offense and strong all-around play, securing their first win of the season and improving their record to 1-3.
Beloit established their dominance early, taking a commanding 38-25 lead by halftime and extending it significantly in the second half, ultimately winning by 36 points. Their offensive efficiency was a key factor, with Beloit shooting 45.3% from the field and an impressive 38.5% from beyond the arc for the game.
Beloit's control over the game was evident from the tip-off. They held the biggest lead of 40 points in the second half (3:12 mark), a testament to their sustained pressure and scoring ability.
