Men's Lacrosse Defeats Earlham for Second Straight Win

RICHMOND, Ind. – In an exciting display of skill and teamwork, the Beloit College Men's Lacrosse team secured a decisive 7-4 victory over Earlham College this afternoon. The win pushes the Bucs to 2-1 on the season and drops the Quakers to 1-5. 

The Buccaneers demonstrated a strong offensive presence throughout the game. Ryder Story (Salem, Ore.) and Liam Walker (Elmhurst, Ill.) each contributed two goals, leading the scoring charge. Will Palmer (Downers Grove, Ill.), Rilan Larmore (Olympia, Wash.), and John Imbriale (Brooklyn, NY) each added a goal to secure the victory. Story and Walker also chipped in an assist each, while Samuel Van Der Kolk (Grand Haven, Mich.) also added an assist.

Beloit's dominance was evident in several key statistical categories. The Buccaneers out shot Earlham 41 to 35, and had 34 ground balls.

In goal for the Bucs, Eric Seo (Woodridge, Ill.), was a formidable presence in the net, earning the win with an impressive 14 saves. Seo's stellar performance kept Earlham's offense at bay and solidified Beloit's defensive efforts.

Despite the loss, Earlham College fought valiantly. Ryan Polack, Robert Gift (2 goals), and Elijah Gamber were the goal scorers for Earlham. Ryan Dolafi recorded 8 saves.

The Bucs continue their road trip and head to Louisville, Kentuckey to face off against the Spalding Univeristy Golden Eagles. That game is set to start at 5 pm.
