Tyler Kubitz

Beloit College Athletics and Head Men's Soccer Coach Patrick Sanchez are proud to announce the appointment of Tyler Kubitz as the program's new Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. Kubitz joins the Buccaneers with an impressive tactical background, a recently completed Master's degree, and a deep-seated passion for player development.

Kubitz arrives at Beloit with a proven track record of leadership and technical expertise. A native of Marshall, Wisconsin, Kubitz transitioned into coaching following a series of knee surgeries that ended his competitive playing career. Since then, he has dedicated himself to the craft of coaching, recently earning his M.S. in Coaching & Coaching Administration from West Virginia University and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

"Tyler has a great understanding of individual player characteristics that will help enhance our program through player feedback, enhanced training session design and more robust player development," said Head Coach Patrick Sanchez. "His role will not be small. We are lucky to have him and can't wait to get to work this spring!"

Kubitz's coaching credentials are highlighted by a prestigious U.S. Soccer National B Coaching License, which he earned just last month. His technical toolkit also includes USSF National C and D licenses, as well as specialized skills in scouting, analytics, and periodization design. Over the past three years, he has honed his skills working with high school-aged athletes in both elite club environments and WIAA Division I programs.

For Kubitz, joining the Beloit staff represents a milestone in a lifelong journey with the sport.

"I am extremely excited to join the Beloit College Men's Soccer Program as an assistant coach," said Kubitz. "Soccer has been a defining part of my life since childhood, and after my high school and collegiate playing years, a series of knee injuries guided me toward pursuing the coaching and leadership side of the sport."

He continued, "My recent conversations with the coaching staff and the athletic department further reinforced that Beloit College is the perfect fit. The program's values and coaching philosophies strongly align with my own, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a culture committed to excellence, development, and student-athlete success. I look forward to supporting the continued advancement of the Beloit College Men's Soccer Program as we strive to become one of the premier contenders in NCAA Division III Men's Soccer. Go Bucs!"

Kubitz's coaching philosophy is built on the twin pillars of education and community. He views the soccer field as an extension of the classroom, where "growth is fostered through challenge." His arrival marks a significant step forward for the Buccaneers as they prepare for the upcoming spring season and look to climb the ranks of the Midwest Conference.
