Buccaneers Men Pick Up Two Wins At Beloit Quadrangular

BELOIT, Wis. -
Beloit's men's swim team defeated two of their three opponents at their home quadrangular meet on Saturday afternoon. The Buccaneers defeated Illinois College 114-71 and North Central (Ill.) 123-40, before losing to Ripon 110.5-83.5.

The highlight of Beloit's day was the performance by Ben Saladar, who won two separate events. He won the 50 backstroke with a time of 27.19, finishing eight seconds ahead of the next-best time, while also winning the 100 backstroke with a time of 58.29, six seconds ahead of the second-place swimmer. Beloit's other individual first place finish came from Colin Bolger, who won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.71. That duo also teamed up with Camden Leonard and Ethan Casler to win the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:43.70.

Beloit will be in action again on December 2-3 when they'll take part in the Principia Mid-Season Invite in Elsah, Ill.
