JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - Beloit's women's swim team competed in the Winter Double Dual on Saturday, defeating host school Illinois College, 122-105, while losing to Millikin University, 147-91.

The Buccaneers' women produced three first-place finishes at the meet, led by a pair of event wins by Maclaryn Leonard. She won both the 50 backstroke (30.66) and 50 freestyle (26.87). Beloit's other first-place finish came from Devin Cuffy-Bethel, who won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:16.15, which was one second better than the second-place time.

Beloit will now take a break from competition, before jumping back in the pool on January 20 at UW-Oshkosh. That meet will begin at 5 p.m. in Oshkosh, Wis.
