BELOIT, Wis. - The Beloit College Swimming and Diving teams hosted the North Central College Cardinals in a dual meet this afternoon. The Men earned their second win of the season, edging out the Cardinals 71-64. Meanwhile, the Women left no chance for NCC, taking the meet 163-31.

Beloit got wins from
Jeremy Mueller (Machesney Park, Ill.) in the 1650 Free (17:11.98) and100 Back (52.90),
Ethan Casler (Mundelein, Ill.) in the 200 Free (2:00.44), 100 Fly (1:02.66) and 500 Free (6:16.30) and
Colin Bolger (Palatine, Ill.) in the 400 IM (5:15.36). Mueller's 1650 Free time broke another school record. It is also the 4th fastest time in the Midwest Conference. His 100 back time ranks 2nd fastest in the MWC. Also scoring for the Bucs were Lucas Fuller and
Henry Amini in the 50 Free with times of 32.57 and 45.33. Fuller also scored in the 100 Free with a time of 1:17.65. Bolger scored in the 100 Breast, clocking in at 1:08.79.

The Bucs saw victories from
Maclaryn Leonard (South Beloit, Ill.),
Abbey Scott (Oswego, Ill.),
Lylah Murrah (North Pole, AK),
Helena Harrison (Chapel Hill, N.C.),
Amelia Pullen (New Orleans, La.), and
Devin Cuffy-Bethel (Nassau, Bahamas). Leonard won both the 200 Free (2:12.19) and 100 Back (1:06. 96). After a year and a half out of the pool, Scott won the 50 Free, clocking in at 27.47. Murrah won the 400 IM (5:19.08) and 500 Free (6:04.71). Harrison continued to dominate the diving for Beloit, winning both the 1M and 3M dives. She scored a 200.55 in 1M and 188.95 in the 3M. Pullen scored for the Bucs when she won the 100 Free with a time of 1:00.24. She also took 2nd in the 200 Free (2:13.46). Cuffey-Bethel returned to the pool following her cross country season to win the 100 Breast (1:20.88).
The Buccaneers return to the pool for the Mid Season Championships starting on November 30th. The three day meet will run Thursday (Nov. 30) through Saturday, December 2nd. Thursday will be diving at 5pm. Friday and Saturday will each consist of two sessions, 10:30am and 4pm. The Buccaneers are hosting the meet at the Robert G. Nicholls Natatorium in Beloit, Wis.
