JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The Beloit College Swimming and Diving teams battled it out this afternoon with MWC foe Illinois College and Millikin University. The Women defeated both IC and Millikin to stay undefeated and move to 5-0 on the year. The Men dropped both duels and move to 2-3 on the season.
Women:
The Buccaneers got wins from
Maclaryn Leonard (South Beloit, Ill.) in the 50 Back (30.44),
Lylah Murrah (North Pole, AK) in the 50 Breast (34.35), 100 Breast (1:15.17) and
Nora Krystowiak (Kenosha, Wis.) in the 500 Free (5:58.64).
Men:
Jeremy Meuller continued to dominate his weekly races, going three for three in 1st place finishes. He took home the top time in the 50 Breast (28.11), 50 Free (21.89) and 100 IM (54:10).
Lucas Fuller (Beloit, Wis.) also got a win in the 100 Back with a time of 1:52.06.
The Buccaneers have over a month off for the Holiday Break, returning to the pool on January 12th to host the Monmouth College Fighting Scots. The meet will start at 4 p.m.
