SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Beloit College Baseball team is gearing up for their third straight NCAA Regional appearance. The Bucs will open the weekend tomorrow, Friday, May 16th against the hosts, #17 Gustavus Adolphus College.
The Gusties come into the Regional with an overall record of 36-7 and the winners of eight straight. Beloit, boasts a 30-14 record and winners of eight of their last nine.
Depending on the outcome of tomorrow's game, the Bucs could play either #21 UW-Oshkosh or UChicago. If they win, they will play at 8:30am (losers of Friday's games) or 12pm (winners of Friday's games).
#21 UW-Oshkosh enters with an overall record of 31-13 and fell to #2 UW-Whitewater in the WIAC Tournament Championship.
University of Chicago is the number three seed in the bracket and holds a 26-14 record. Chicago finished second in the UAA (University Athletic Association) behind Case Western Reserve who is hosting a regional of their own.
