BELOIT, Wis.  – Five members of the Beloit College softball team have been recognized for their outstanding achievements both on the diamond and in the classroom, earning selection to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Softball Team for NCAA Division III.

Seniors Siddalee Meyers (Orfordville, Wis.) and Helena Harrison (Chapel Hill, N.C.) both earn honors for the second time this year, with Meyers being named in the fall for volleyball and Harrison earning the honors for diving this winter. 

The three others for the Bucs are all juniors and earning their first distinction. Jessalyn Coppe (Niles, IL), Kaylee Witte (Poplar Grove, IL) and Samantha Friedrichsohn (Waukesha, WI). 

These student-athletes were selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) for their combined excellence in athletic competition and academic pursuits. The CSC Academic All-District® program celebrates the nation's top student-athletes, recognizing their significant contributions to their teams while maintaining high academic standards.

To be eligible for Academic All-District® honors, student-athletes must meet rigorous criteria, including a minimum cumulative grade point average and significant athletic participation.

This recognition highlights the dedication and hard work of Meyers, Harrison, Coppe, Witte, and Friedrichsohn, showcasing their commitment to excelling as both students and athletes at Beloit College.
