NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Beloit College Cross Country Teams wrapped up their 2024 season this morning, running at the NCAA Division III North Region Championships.
The Beloit College men's cross country team finished 30th this morning. The Buccaneers fielded a short squad with only five finishers, posting an average time of 31:06.1 across their scoring runners.
Dylan Malmgren (Loves Park, Ill.) led the way for Beloit, finishing 105th overall with a time of 26:50.6 in the 8-kilometer race.
Cooper Rathmann (Milwaukee, Wis.) was the team's second finisher, crossing the line in 199th place with a time of 31:17.4, followed by
Sawyer Wall (Chicago, Ill.) (202nd, 31:43.7),
Aiden Cortinas (Sycamore, Ill.) (204th, 31:48.7), and
Cal Fox (Orfordville, Wis. ) (211th, 33:49.9).
The Beloit College women's cross country team finished 29th out of 31 teams. The Buccaneer runners averaged a time of 28:05.4 per runner.
Junior
Simone De Montigny (Neenah, Wis.) led the way for Beloit, finishing 122nd overall with a time of 25:04.1 on the 6-kilometer course.
Sophia Miller (Salem, Ore.), a sophomore, placed 169th with a time of 26:32.7, followed by senior
Carter Browne (Hornell, N.Y.) in 180th (26:54.7). Freshman
Carly Carpenter (Sycamore, Ill.) (30:16.6) and senior Emmeline Russell (31:38.8) rounded out the scoring five for the Bucs.
The marks the end of the 2024 Beloit College Cross Country season.
