COLFAX, WIs. - The Beloit College cross country teams wrapped up the 2025 season this weekend at the 2025 NCAA North Region Championships. The Championships were hosted by UW-Eau Claire and were held at Whitetail Golf Course. The Buccaneer men, finished 27th out of 31 teams while the women finished 29th out of 30.
The men's 8k race saw a solid contingent from Beloit, led by
Dylan Malmgren (Loves Park, Ill.). Malmgren, showcasing his consistent performance, finished in 125th place with a time of 27:41.7. Close behind,
Leo Ramos secured the 160th position, crossing the finish line at 28:32.3.
Cooper Rathmann (Milwaukee, Wis.) and
Kembre Daniel (Chicago, Ill.) ran strong races, finishing nearly simultaneously in 163rd and 164th place, respectively, both with times around 28:49. The Beloit men's team also saw
Sawyer Wall (Chicago, Ill.) (31:56.6),
Max Muszynski (Milwaukee, Wis.) (33:43.6), and
Conall Witherite (Round Lake, IL) (35:01.6) complete the challenging 8k course, each contributing to the team's overall presence.
The Beloit College women's team also delivered a commendable performance in their 6k race.
Simone De Montigny (Neenah, Wis.) was a standout for the Buccaneers, leading the women's team with an impressive 106th place finish and a time of 24:36.5. Following De Montigny,
Allie Roberts pushed hard to finish in 174th place at 27:01.5, with
Addie Bogda just a few places behind at 177th with a time of 27:16.3.
Sofia Jackson (28:19.4),
Carly Carpenter (Sycamore, Ill.) (30:19.0), and
Meghan Koning (Mt. Prospect, Ill.) (30:27.2) rounded out the Beloit women's runners, each completing the demanding 6k course with grit and determination.
With only one senior between the two teams, the Buccaneers will look to continue to grow in the offseason and come back faster and stronger in the 2026 season.
