Box Score The Beloit College men's lacrosse team picked up its second win of the season with a neutral site win over Hendrix, 15-6 last night in Dallas, Texas.
The Buccaneers led by just one, 4-3, after one quarter in Dallas but the offense set blistering pace win an onslaught of shots in the second period. The Bucs tallied seven goals in the period while the defense nearly blanked Hendrix to take an 11-4 advantage into the lockerrooms at the break.
Beloit added four insurance goals in the second half while the defense continued to stymy the Hendrix offense.
Seven Bucs registered goals in the game including four by Michael Boyland. Mark Gannon added three goals and four assists while Matt Lee, Nick Meisberger and Michael Spencer all found the back of the net twice. Kevin Joswiak recorded a goal and an assist in the game. Â Avery Walter-Bailey also tallied a goal in the game.
Beloit will head to Georgetown, Texas to face Southwestern tomorrow (Sunday) at 3 p.m. before returning to Strong Stadium for their home opener against Milwaukee School of Engineering Wednesday.
