The Beloit College men's lacrosse team fell to Monmouth College 13-4 Saturday afternoon at Strong Stadium.
The Scots' offense kept the pressure on the Beloit defense throughout the game firing 59 shots in the game including 32 on goal.
The Buccaneer offense was stifled by the Monmouth defense in the first half before getting on the board in the second.
With 6:08 on the clock in the third quarter,
Will Palmer made good on a great feed from
Jordan Rice, besting the Scots' keeper for Beloit's first goal of the game.
Olaf Sorenson had a fantastic fourth quarter offensively for Beloit. The senior registered two man-up goals with
Adrian Camacho and Palmer tallying assists. Rice rounded out the scoring for the Bucs with just over nine minutes left in the contest.
Keeler Tardiff was the most active defensively for Beloit posting eight groundballs and four caused turnovers.
Eric Seo made 19 saves in net for Beloit.
