The Beloit College men's lacrosse team fell to Northland College 7-2 in the squad's home opener Saturday afternoon at Strong Stadium.
The
Hunter Brown and
Steven Soli connection paced the Buccaneers as Soli set up Brown on a pair of goals Saturday. The first game with just under three minutes to go in the second quarter. The second goal of the day for Beloit was a man-advantage goal with 9:23 on the clock in the third.
Brown and Soli combined for nine of the team's 14 shots in the contest. Six of those were on goal.
Defensively,
Jordan Rice caused three turnovers and added six ground balls.
Keeler Tardiff was also active in loose ball situations with six ground balls.
In net,
Eric Seo registered 18 saves in the complete game in goal for the Bucs.
