The Beloit College men's lacrosse team dropped a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference contest to a solid Concordia Wisconsin squad 16-2 on a beautiful afternoon at Strong Stadium.
Steven Soli provided the offensive highlights for the Buccaneers with both of Beloit's goals in the game. His second took the entire Falcons' defense by surprise as he was swarmed by defenders but saw an opening for a quick, almost no-look shot, that bested the CUW keeper.
Defensively,
Keeler Tardiff hauled in eight groundballs while
Eric Seo turned away 21 CUW shots on net in the contest.
The Bucs continue a tough week of games with Aurora Thursday. That contest was rescheduled from Wednesday due to forecasted severe thunderstorms in the Beloit area Wednesday evening. The first faceoff is slated for 7 pm. Beloit wraps up the week with Benedictine at Strong Stadium Saturday at noon.
