BELOIT, Wis. - Beloit College Director of Athletics Pat Miller has announced that John Baillie has resigned as head coach of the Women's Soccer program.
Baillie, who has led the Buccaneers for the past two seasons, informed the administration of his decision earlier today. The resignation is effective immediately. Baillie stated that while his time at Beloit has been wonderful, he feels his family needs to come first and the distance and time away from his children have led to his decision.
Coach Baillie took over and took the Buccaneers back to the Midwest Conference Tournament in his first season. He coached one Midwest First Team All-Conference selection and four second-team members.
Beloit College Athletics would like to thank Coach Baillie for his hard work and dedication to the program, department and college as a whole during his time on campus.
While Beloit Athletics determines next steps, all inquiries can be made to either Director of Athletics Pat Miller or Assistant Women's Soccer Coach Ashley Oldham.
